Is it possible(or should they) film new episodes of Get A Life?

Hi,
I felt as well as a few others that this show was a bit ahead of it's time when it first hit the air back in late 1990. I enjoyed the show and after it went off the air I purchased the VHS tapes of the show and still watch them on occasion.
It's now been 13 years since the show last aired a new episode in March of 1992. IMO this show and it's theme/storyline could easily be re-created again with some updates and still work. Chris Elliot is still young enough and if he and the rest of the cast were willing to do this again I think this show would stand a greater chance of lasting and staying on the air longer then back when it first aired. Remember this show actually beat Seinfield in the ratings at first! Now my questions for the rest of you to debate.............

Do you think it's possible that new epsiodes of this can be filmed and still be at least as funny/good as the original show?

Do you feel they should leave well enough alone and not make any new shows?

How about a movie version? (for instance, Strangers With Candy is doing a film version of their show.)

What do you think?

"How about a movie version?"

Yes, there is a Tom Hanks movie coming out in 2007 directed by Steven Speilberg. IMDB lists it as "in production" Elliott does a cameo. John Goodman is playing the part of Gus Borden. Sharon is being played by Sharon Stone. Weird Al is doing the opening theme - Another One Rides the Bus. (This version opens with CP riding a bus.) It's rumoured that Coldplay and Sia contribute tracks along with Flock of Seagulls and Men at Work.
