shareBut will it be just as funny as it was in the 90s? Guess we'll have to wait and see. I haven't seen a show with such raunchy humor since The Chappelle Show. Speaking of which, he wouldn't be a bad addition to the show.
share
Like Chappelle would be available for this. The guy turned down tens of millions to get away from his own show.
But hell yeah, that's cool that they're bringing it back. I hope they listen to Wayans this time and he gets to do the show the way he wants, that guy knows comedy.
50 million .
shareI doubt it will be funny. Twenty years ago we didn't have the PC police. A lot of sketches wouldn't cut it now.
I'm straight...applaud me for my bravery!

Love to see how the show will turn out. ILC was the funniest ever show on TV. Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx! Gotta see this one.
shareYeah, i'm VERY interested to see ILC'c comeback. I really hope they won't ruin the show's legacy, i would like to see new and talented performers and future stars like Jamie Foxx and Jim Carrey were at the time. But all in all i don't mind if David Alan Grier is back for instance. Interesting to see when we start getting news about the cast and show's new image etc. etc., this will be an interesting spring!
shareWhen you think of the caliber of talent from the original show, with Jamie Foxx the Wayan brothers, Carrey and everyone else all so amazing. J.Lo wants to be on the show, I've read. She's not gonna want to be a flygirl, she's gonna want a bigger role in this!
shareSome recent news about the show and the cast:
http://www.deadline.com/2012/04/foxs-in-living-color-cbs-friend-me-martin-lawrence-project-add-to-casts/

So these new comedians will be on ILC cast:
Josh Duvendeck
Kali Hawk
Jennifer Bartels (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnOmi4aYP2E)
Jermaine Fowler (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cX3nv0oqsgo)
Lilrel Howery (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wY10kGjHn8Q)
Also interesting to see that the production starts this month.
The thing is, the show was so rooted in that time period, it'd be like bringing back "Laugh-In" 20 years later. On top of that, getting another cast of unknowns with that much talent would be like having lightning strike twice. That said, I'll be happy if I'm proven wrong and they come out with a fresh, relevant show that lives up to the original.
shareI'm a little happy and skeptical at the same time about this. I wish them the best of luck though on this.

I think they need this bad.....like to see it....even though i dont think they can top the 1990's version....but Keenen on board!....thats a major +.....like to see some special host thrown in thier every once in a while like the stars of the 90's to host or something.....

My Voting history is secret;)

I predict 6 episodes - 1 season long before it cancelled. Not trying to put the show down, it's just my opinion, and I may be wrong.
