Best Music Video Parody?

This show was where video parodies basically began. And they had some good ones. My all time favorite is a spoof of Shabba Ranks' "Mr. Loverman". I think it's the best one they done and that's saying alot.

I think I remember that. LOL, now that you mention it, I vaguely remember the humming thing was subtle, like it looked like the video was real and they just had her hum. I liked it.

The Natalie Cole duet parody was from SNL. I liked the RHYTHMLESS NATION and the Tracy Chapman FAST SONG was pretty funny too.

I love the one with Tommy Davidson acting as MC Hammer. He got lost in his big ol' pants. That was too funny.

Homey the clown, don't mess around. Even though the man, try to put him down.

Tommy Davidson doing Hammer's "Can't Touch This" and Michael Jackson's "Black or White", Kelly Coffield doing Paula Abdul in "Promise Of A Thin Me", and let's not forget Jim Carrey doing Vanilla Ice performing "White, White Baby"

There are two that I found hilarious: Baby Got Snacks and the one with Jim Carrey playing Bill Clinton and spoofing Bobby Brown's "Humpin' Around".

"Don't blame me! Blame society!"-Carl "CJ" Johnson

I wish they had those online to watch. The MC Hammer 2 sold out 2 quit is one ive been looking for forever. I saw it a few years ago on tv and couldnt stop laughing, when handyman starts doin the 2 legit 2 quit finger signs, so funny. Fox are a bunch of sellouts theyve ruined franchises (die hard, aliens, predator etc.) and everythign else they touch by hiring hacks and anyone to make them money. They dont care who they rip off and/or destroy in movies, tv shows as long as they make money off it.

Kim Wayans' Gypsy Woman sketch, HANDS DOWN.

Jim Carrey doing Bill Clinton, “Ain’t Nobody Humpin’ Around” and Vanilla Ice, “White, White Baby” – HILARIOUS!!!

“Yo VIP! Let’s kick it. All right stop – while I do up my laces. This kind of thing happens every show. Yo – I gotta learn how to tie a bow.”

“I’m white and capitalizin’ – on a trend that’s currently risin’. Mix it with Curly, Larry, and Moe. Whoop whoop whoop whoop whoop hey Yo!”

“I’m a little tea pot short and stout.” “Go Vanilla Ice, work it out!” (Go white boy, go white boy, go white boy!)

“I told the world I was stabbed in the butt, but it was a toilet paper cut.”

Funny Sh it!!!

And Michael Jackson, “Don’t know If I’m Black Or White”

“There a far worse things awaiting man than death.”

My favorite one was the "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)" by Digable Planets parody. It was Jim Carey as Jay Leno, Keenan Ivory Wayans as Arseneo Hall (sp) and T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh as Whoopi Goldberg. I'm 22 now, but I can remember this stuff vividly! I am in tears laughing about it right now!!!

Yabba-dabba-do, yabba-dabba-dee

Ha-ha-hee, ho-ho-ho

I still find myself randomly singing that line, that and "L.A. face with a big ole ass."

Mr. Ugly Man takes the cake, though. "Get away for why?!"

MissLovie: & when david allen grier does ike turner? "whats love got to do with it?" i'd crack up when he'd yell "WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?"

With that damn wig on! "Put some stank on it!"

Great thread. I had forgotten about some of these.
