The theme song for ILC for season 1-3 reminded me of that era. I think it was the best time for music in the early 90s. But I wish that one brave artist would bring back the good times. (I know that won't happen though!)
Many days I wonder if my blue seas will follow me to my ocean
The sad part is those are lost times. 87-93 introduced an entirely new genre in hip hop and r&b. Sadly the trash that floods the radio waves these days takes precedence over the real stuff.
i loved the new jack swing era yeah i know i was too young to remember but i still listen and enjoy it 'till this day...hi-five, guy, wreckz-n-effect, bell biv devoe, teddy riley the inventor of the new jack swing! i wish i was a little more older at the time of the new jack swing i could imagine how fun those house parties were back in the late 80's and early 90s..all about fun no violence or shootings..man wish it was like that today..
Does anyone know the artist or song that plays during the skit "Foundation for Golf Heritage"? It's the one where Tommy & David play golf dressed a bit like RUN DMC.
I've tried to piece together the lyrics to search, but it's almost impossible to hear over the laugh track! Help!
Yea that was my favorite era, I especially loved the clothes, it was homage to late thirties roaring twenties!!! I miss Coda, I miss Oaktree, I remember sadly the end of that era, it was replaced by the new trand of labor wear. YUCK!!! But whoever said those house parties werent violent has another thing coming, as I remember we had to get to parties before a certain time where either the cops shut em down or they got shot up.
CODA, JW, and Oak Tree! i remember those clothing stores. i used to shop there all the time, especially buy their cheap knock off colognes. but yeah, i miss that era of the nineties. great music, great fashiion, all around good times.
