Anyone heard any news of a special edition commemorating the movie's 20th anniversary? The version available is crap.

Doubt it. There's quite a few Paramount films that only have a barebones, non-anamorphic release available like 'Days of Thunder.'

'Days of Thunder' at least has a blu-ray version out.
