Soundtrack sounds like stock music?

I know Simpson/Bruckheimer love those instrumental, rock anthem type soundtracks but watching this on Bravo last night I tried to isolate the score in my head and I couldn't believe how generic and bland the riffs were. Is this the suckiest, big budget score or are there worse?

I'm not a musical genius, but I know Hans Zimmer's stuff quite well and this IS pretty generic sounding compared to his better stuff. It sounds more like a template than a finished product.

Alos, they play play Days of Thunder on Bravo? I love this movie, but is it Bravo-worthy? Sort of funny.

i think the soundtrack is perfect for racing cars, try it yourself buy it on amazon and see how long it takes to get a ticket. plus Hans Zimmer is one of the best

Love the soundtrack.

Not the greatest, but still cool to listen to.

Give Evangeline Lilly and Matthew Fox an Emmy!

I was watching Transformers today, and it's the same kind of generic dramatic music, basically all the bruck movies in the last decade or so have the same style music

the rock, bad boys, DOT, transformers, pearl harbor

David Coverdale's explosive " Last note of freedom" , alone gives the album 2 thumbs up.
