I know Simpson/Bruckheimer love those instrumental, rock anthem type soundtracks but watching this on Bravo last night I tried to isolate the score in my head and I couldn't believe how generic and bland the riffs were. Is this the suckiest, big budget score or are there worse?
shareI'm not a musical genius, but I know Hans Zimmer's stuff quite well and this IS pretty generic sounding compared to his better stuff. It sounds more like a template than a finished product.
Alos, they play play Days of Thunder on Bravo? I love this movie, but is it Bravo-worthy? Sort of funny.
i think the soundtrack is perfect for racing cars, try it yourself buy it on amazon and see how long it takes to get a ticket. plus Hans Zimmer is one of the best

David Coverdale's explosive " Last note of freedom" , alone gives the album 2 thumbs up.
