What town in Massachusetts?

It was mostly filmed in Ipswich, MA. Some of the surrounding towns/areas were used as well. Beautiful area, I grew up there.

Thanks, I've always wanted to know where the house was that they moved into. The one on the water.

I recently learned the by-the-water scenes were filmed in Rockport, a small coastal town on Cape Ann. It's a nice town, your eyes always have something unique and old to look at. I have family there. Gets real busy in the summer.
