I thought Cher was good in a lot of things, but wow, she did a fine job!
Her best is Mask though, but my god, she did great here!

I agree Cher was fabulous in Mermaids! I have never heard or read anything about the making of Mermaids but it really seems that she enjoyed playing the Mrs.Flax character. Cher is soooooo talented!!

I didnt really realise Cher acted a fair bit,
but I saw this and she is great in it! (It's overall great too. I love this film.)
Since then have seen films like silkwood and realised she is good.

Cher is a suprisingly good actress! And yes she was good in this

I couldn't agree more. She was incredible in this, but I thought her best performance was Silkwood, although Mask is certainly up there.

If Abigail Breslin shaved her head, she'd be Stanford Blatch

I'm not a huge fan of Cher's music, though I do have some respect for her there too. However she is definitely an amazing actress!! I wish she had done more films, because she really hasn't done many; Although she has been up for multiple acting Oscar's and even won one for Moonstruck.
I really think that if pretty much anyone was to watch Mermaids, Moonstruck, Mask and Silkwood; They would realize that Cher truly is one of the best film actresses in the entire modern era. My favorite actresses ever go Vivien Leigh and Cher 1,2 respectively. Neither of them did as many films as I would like. :( Lol!
