He was OK looking in an average way, but she could get almost anyone she wanted!

It was one of the oddest pairings I've seen in a movie. Lou was balding, chubby and not sexy. But I think that sends a good message because he was a great person and Mrs. Flax saw that in him and I like to believe that's what attracted her to him, not his looks.
She treated him like garbage though. He was too good for her.
