Why did Joe ignore Charlotte when she kept asking him why he let her mother kiss him on New Year's Eve. She asks him why did you let her, and he just smiles and gets in his truck and drives away.

Because the best thing you can do to a girl who's freaking out like that is ignore her. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Because half of this movie is totally weird and makes no sense, that's why. lol This is seriously one of the weirdest, most unrealistic, makes-no-sense kind of movies ever. I enjoy it but it's just bizarre!
