Barbara
The original script was meant for Barbara to be one the voice of reason. That went to Ben's character in the original because Duane Jones was so likeable.
In this remake, they went back to making Barbara the hero and it was a good choice. Patricia Tallman was decent as Barbara. Plus she has good stunt work in her career.
