Rocky should have fought an Iranian In Iran for the title instead of a street fight with Tommy Gunn. Iron Sheik would have been perfect

It’s not that bad. I can see why most Rocky fans hate it, it’s not in the same league as the first 4, but it’s got a good street fight and some funny lines eg “no guys this ain’t no pie eating contest” lol.

They should have had him fight the Predator. That would have been so awesome and it would have made sense as Rocky IV established that this is a sci fi franchise.

Absolutely. And then have him save Danny Glover's life and say something like I won't let you die like I let Apollo die!

And that makes totally sense because the Predator also killed Apollo.
