Judith Hoag was only 21 in this film

Wow, she looked like she was was in her 30's. An attractive woman nonetheless.

That's pretty crazy. I'm 30 now and she still seems older than me in this 0_0

Agreed. She doesn;t look like any 21 year old I've ever seen. Looks 41.

RIP Matt Roberts. You were great.

reply

I had no idea she was only 21. Such an underrated actress.

Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Pantera, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fan.

reply

She seems about 27 in this movie.

reply

At least.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Matt Roberts. You were great.

reply

She definitely looked a lot older a good 10 years older I thought she was in her 30s at least.

reply

Way older. At least 30's.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Robert Vaughn

reply

Wow 21, I thought she was 30 as well.

I agree with what’s been said. She undeniably looked and acted much older than her real age. I mean, it’s rather hard to believe that she was really only 21, but ultimately she fit the role of April O’ Neill.

And yes, she was downright sexy (looked older, albeit in a good way).

reply

indeed

reply

Do you think any of the turtles banged her?

reply

Any? Or ALL?

reply

TURTLE POWER!

reply

Plowabunghole!

reply

Thank you for giving me a word that will last a thousand lifetimes.

reply

My pleasure! Also if she did a bukkake with them, we could call it turtle soup.

reply

Beautiful soup so rich and green... hiding in a hot tureen.

reply

Of course. You know Splinter was into those sloppy seconds and/or fifths.

reply

I would've thought she was around 27-28 years old myself, she was the better version of April O'Neil IMHO

This was still an era where women in their early 20s often carried themselves as "women" rather than "girls". So the issue really is that she mostly just acts older than the average 21-22 year old woman does today in film and in real life. She also lives alone in her own loft apartment (implied to be inherited) & is a single, ambitious news reporter. People were expected to mature faster in those days compared to now where women in show business especially, dress and act like teenagers until they're 30 & 20 somethings until they're in they're 40s. It's the same thing with men too but often less pronounced.
