It Would Have Been So Good And It Would Have Happened if the show hadn't had been canceled

The spin off, ya know ... like The Jeffersons was a spin off of All In The Family.

I totally agree though, a Dash X spin off would have ruled. Marsden could still pull it off. Voice hasn't changed at all, you'd just have to loosen the Disney leash.

I met Joe Dante yesterday, and actually, it would have happened... sort of.
The character was created to replace Marshall later in the series !
Apparently, the network wanted to get rid of Marshall...
According to Dante, the last episode with him would have Marshall discovering that he's part of a TV series, and that he's going to be suppressed from it.

Marshall is one the best child/teen protagonists I've ever seen on a series. Who'd really want to replace him?
