I needs to know how the series ended...I've wondered since I was 13 or so. Can someone give me a BRIEF synopsis of how the series ended? Last episode or last few maybe? What happened to the handful of main characters? Brooke, Dylan, Chris, Matt, Ashley, etc. Did Matt and Ashley ever get back together? I had the BIGGEST crush on Ashley back then (and still sort of do...). a HUGE thank you to anyone kind enough to help me.
shareI can!! Brooke wasn't in season 4 she went to Paris. Christ turned from bad guy to good guy when he started hanging with Roxanne again and they befriended Russ who had Leukemia. Matt moved away a few episodes before the end, so sad!! Basically Ashley and Dylan cheated on Matt and Aresman. In the last episode, apparently Ash and Dylan had a fight and Ash was not with Dylan at the costume party. However, in previous episodes we saw Dylan with some girl named Mel from night school. Billy got in a fight with a guy Brittany (Hi if you see this! :)) went off with and punched him. So, sadly enough, Matt and Ash never got back together. Any other questions, just ask! :)

wow, what a disappointment... it sounds like they kind of wrapped up the show in a hurry and didn't really resolve much. thanks a lot for your answer though

yeah, it seemed like they were expecting to come back for a 5th season and (for whatever reason) that never happened so the show just ended up in the air.. i was in love with russ, so they pretty much traumatized me when they gave him leukemia and then never resolved whether he lived or died.. i actually thought the end of season 3 seemed more like it was written to be the series finale, and maybe nickelodeon decided to go ahead with a 4th season afterwards, but that's just my impression.. does anyone know any of the actual story about what happened behind-the-scenes with the show? were they originally planning to end it with season 3? why didn't brooke, courtney, & jake come back for season 4? why wasn't there a season 5? just curious..
shareI read from various sources, mostly on these message boards, that a fifth season WAS produced but never aired in the United States, and that the character of Brooke came back from Paris.
And if a fifth season was not produced, I think it was just because the show just became more expensive than necessary and viewership by Season 4 was way down. Obviously Season 4 didn't have Brooke, Jake, or Courtney, all three tried-and-true characters.
