Love this movie! But ...
... I remember expecting something COMPLETELY different when renting it for the forst time in the early 90's.
With the front cover (where Santa is hangin up side down) and Leslie Nilsen's name mentioned among the lead actors, I was sure it was going to be like Naked Gun with a christmas theme. Riding the success of Home Alone. But it was, of course, not like that at all.
I was probably very disappointed back then, but now I really like it.
