I'm a total cynic, but this movie was on ABC Family last night, and for what it is it's so cute. Just a corny, sappy family holiday movie with a happy ending. Completely impossible, but sweet.

I love this movie! I have watched it every Christmas since I was about 6! I just love everything about it!

I know I have loved this movie forever as well. I swear when I was little I wanted four mice for christmas so i could name one snowball. I always cry at that part when Ethan is watching his family home videos. The song is soo sad.

You guys are talking about watching this movie like once or twice a Christmas.. I watch it like once or twice a month.. at least! I love it.. I dunno, it's just so.. cute.. The music is great, the story is great, actors are great.. I love everything about it.. and I did name my little gerbil snowball.. and it wasn't even white! lol.. But definitely awesome movie!

I know, I always watch it.. my little sister thinks it too fake and corny but that's what I love about it. Thora Birch was such a cutie.

My little sister and I watch it every year! It's our tradition. A total under the radar classic. Love, love, love it. Christmas wouldn't be the same without it.

I have been wanting to buy this for a while now. Haven't seen it yet, but I love Thora Birch, and this is obviously one of her earliest roles. I got it from Amazon.com today, and now I can't wait to watch it!!! (Who cares that it's almost summer?)

Thora Birch was great in this, I agree.. along with Ethan Embry, who I had a little crush on in this movie and Dutch! lol He's such a cutie and a good actor! ;D

Can't wait to see this on AMC's Christmas lineup!! Suppose to be on Dec. 18 and the 23rd.. check out amc.com's schedule if you are waiting on seeing this movie this year!! I'm so glad a few people on here had told me that it's been on AMC lately!!

I agree that this is a very cute movie. I love the part when Ethan fell off his chair in front of everybody. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! That must've embarrassed him.

I agree that Ethan was a really good actor. The story was entertaining and comic, without being too sentimental or over-the-top. It's a very enjoyable holiday film.

I love it too. It's very sappy but it gets away with it because it's a Christmas film. It's one of those films I have to watch during the festive time.

I wasn't that keen on it, I give it 4/5.

The acting from the child actors is quite good, it had some interesting moments
but it just didn't feel Christmassy enough for me. I got bored and I think
the ending was very unrealistic.

Also now it's 2013 and this came out 1991 it is badly dated, Home Alone came out the year before but does not seem as dates as this one.
