'A History of Violence' ripped this movie off

Consider: Two mobster goons spot an old acquaintance who owes them money and tracks him down, invading his now suburban, small-town, straight and narrow life.

Sound familiar? Replace Michael Gross with Viggo Mortensen--and take away Vanilla Ice, since there's no replacing the Ice Man--and you've got "A History of Violence." The two movies are exactly the same!

except that the graphic novel "A History of Violence" wasnt written until 1997 and "Cool As Ice" was released in 1991... the OP has a very valid point.

They both sucked. Well actually AHOV was mediocre and I never saw this one; but y'know.

just like 'Fast and Furious' ripped off 'Point Break'...

On a side note, I solely blame Vanilla Ice for spawning the era of young rich easily influenced white kids talking/walking/acting like they're black. Thanks dick!

Besides everyone knows the best black white guy is Gary Oldman as Drexyl in True Romance.

Those bastards. Wait til Vanilla Ice hears about this, then all hel is going to break loose.
