WHO is..?

...that awesomely HOT blonde dancer in the club at the beginning of the film? She gives Vanilla Ice her number (the usual 555-B.S.) as he and his crew are leaving, and she writes down 'Monique', even says 'hi' to him, so she SHOULD be credited as an actor with dialogue (if only one syllable), not to mention the fact that her character even has a name. She is NOT Tera Tabrizi (an uncredited dancer in the club scene, who is also a totally different looking, albeit also hot, brunette). This drives me crazy every time I watch this movie (which is far too many times at this point). Does somebody out there know? Just to satisfy my morbid curiosity.

Also, it just occurred to me on this, my six (or seventh) viewing of the film that is a certain peculiar similarity between the plot points in this film of having Kristin Minter's dad (Michael Gross) get inadvertently spotted by the gangsters on TV...much as Viggo Mortensen's character in "A History of Violence" is tracked down by Ed Harris and his cronies? Not suggesting any plagiarism here - just saying it's an odd sort of semi-coincidence.
