Upcoming screening in Los Angeles! (1-26-08)

So I just found out about this the other night, and I am super pumped. I, like most of you, missed this film in its original week in the theater and have had to resort to watching a crappy VHS dub ever since. Well, that is all about to change on January 26th, 2008, when Cool as Ice will be screening at the New Beverly Cinema*.

*I am not affiliated with the theater or the people involved with making this screening happen; I'm just a fan of the movie who wants to see a sold out show that night.

I haven't heard anything about special guests, but I suppose it is possible that somebody may show up unannounced. If only Ice himself would grace us with his presence.

Hell, I'd settle for Michael Gross.. or even Sir D.

Anyway, if I get any photos worth posting, I will definitely post them here.

I'd totally come. Trans-Atlantic flights are a little pricey this time of year though

unfortunately, there were no surprise guests and nothing very photo-worthy. but despite the crappy weather (non-stop rain in los angeles?!) and the poor sound in the theater that night, seeing the movie on a big screen with a nearly sold out audience was pretty awesome. everybody was into it and even missed a few choice lines because they were laughing too much.
