Anyone felt Tom and Rosaenne Arnolds Presence was Warranted?

Did any of you feel that Tom and Rosanne Arnolds presence at the Springwood Fair was Cool and warranted?

For how Bad I felt this movie was, and what a Joke most of this film was, Tom and Rosanne Arnold I actually felt fit right into the mold of this movie.

Why do I feel this way? Simply because Most and if not everyone (mostly adults) were all Nuts to begin with, or are supposed to be, and naïve of Freddy's presence in their town.

Rosanne even said herself, that she would not allow 'Him' (meaning Freddy) to come after and find the Elm Street Children ever again.
Though, what I felt she meant when she said that, could have possibly been the 20 Children who were Murdered before Freddy was Burned by the Parents, of the soon-to-be Nightmare On Elm Street victims.

If you actually pay attention, you'll catch all this when Rosanne greets them, or rather, pours herself awkwardly onto them.

If you ask me, I Liked Tom and Rosanne Arnold better than most all of the rest of the cast, including Maggie.

Only thing which puzzles me, is that the Springwood Fair Looks like it definitely resides in California someplace, or outside LA. Does not Look a thing like Ohio.

Thoughts.

No the adults are all clearly quite aware of Freddy and that why they are nuts. In the comic book version there was an extra scene where Tom Arnold points to John Doe and shouts "You said you were getting out and you brought more back with you"

I thought they were horrible! I couldn't stand either one of them at the time. I couldn't believe they were in this.

I have actually had the pleasure of speaking to Tom Arnold a few times and he is very kind man, husband and father. He has changed lot from who he was back when this movie was made.
