Finished watching The Final Nightmare? Lets rate!

ONE 3- The perfect film. Takes the mythology of the first one and adds more without hurting the original vision. Dokken, beautiful Lankencamp and a brilliant ending easily make this the best in the franchise.

TWO 2 - Let me apologize ahead of time for completely contradicting most of what I said in the above review. This is a mess but its an inexpliqably entertaining mess. A metaphor for being gay. Why does Freddy die(homosexual urges get dismissed? The love of a good women
Thats how! Freddys looks the meanest in this one and the dark atmosphere alone makes it a big contender.

THREE 1 - Scary...thats about it......very disturbing and creepy moments....some perfected executed others not.

FOUR 4 - Fun entry, good soundtrack....but the franchise starts spinning its wheels at this point...love the high body count though

FIVE 6 - Getting stupid but I like Freddys back story....and Carlos death pretty good

SIX 5 - Terrible...except for the opening score..effectively creepy

Mine are as follows and in Order:

{1.} NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (Original)
(2.) NOES 4 DREAM MASTERS
(3.) NOES 3 DREAM WARRIORS
(4.) NOES 2 FREDDY's Revenge
(5.) NOES 6 or FREDDYS DEAD
(6.) NOES 5 DREAM Child

Did not see any of the other sequels or Freddy movies after FREDDYS DEAD.

Saw only parts of FREDDY vs. Jason, but not enough to grade it or list it with the previous 6 sequels.

ANOES (1984 Original) - Definitely Wes Craven's signature film,
Robert Englund is terrific and menacing as Freddy Krueger,
Heather Langenkamp is great as Nancy and who can forget
Charles Bernstein's classic score. 7/10

Freddy's Dead - Yes, it's silly and Freddy is cartoonish,
but it's intentional and Englund is always entertaining
as Freddy. I really like the end credits montage too. 6/10

New Nightmare - I like that Langenkamp plays herself along
with the rest of the cast, Freddy's new look is creepy and
J. Peter Robinson's score is great. A fitting end to the
series imo. 6/10

Part 3: Dream Warriors - Good sequel that most consider the
best of the sequels. It's nice to see Langenkamp and John
Saxon reprise their roles and there's neat effects/dream
sequences. 6/10

Part 2: Freddy's Revenge - Dark, Underrated sequel that's been
called the black sheep of the series. I've always liked it, Freddy
is scary in it and Christopher Young's score is chilling. 5.5/10

Part 4: The Dream Master - Freddy gets comedic here, but it's
got imaginative dream sequences/effects and Englund is great
as usual. 5/10

Part 5: The Dream Child - Definitely a step down from the last
film, but Englund is great and I like the scenes with Freddy's
mother. 4.5/10

Freddy vs. Jason - Could've been better, but it's nice to see
slashers, Freddy & Jason finally lock horns. 4/10

ANOES (2010 Remake) - One of the worst remakes and while
Jackie Earle Haley is a bit creepy as Freddy, Englund will
always define the role. 4/10
