Why was Alice or Lisa Wilcox not in this one?

Why was Alice or Lisa Wilcox not in this one?

She was in the original script, but it's like many have said, I THINK ppl just wanted a fresh new story for this one that didn't rely on past events.

Just because we lose today's battle doesn't mean we've lost tommorow's war.

maybe he got her...he finally got her!!

There was a comic book mini-series (about three years ago) called 'Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash: Nightmare Warriors' that had Alice & a teenage Jacob returning with just about every living survivor of the Freddy/Jason movies when Freddy got ahold of the Necronomicon.

Alice ended up sacrificing herself to save Jacob, making him the new Dream Master, who promptly curb stomped Freddy... until he gutted Jacob at the last minute. Jacob ended up living, and at the end of the story ends up traveling with Tommy Jarvis.

sweet!!!!! i'll have to look that up.

If it's not in film form I can't consider that comic canon, it reads like nothing more than fan fiction to me.

Regarding the films and Alice's absence from the films, Alice kicked Fred's ass twice, he finally learned to leave her the hell alone lol.

I'm glad they didn't include Alice again. It broke the trend of always killing off the surviving person from the last movie.

I read somewhere that Alice moved away from Springwood with her son forever. But I don't have a source, and it's been years since I read that so I really can't confirm if it was true or just some fan fiction lol

reply

Yes that was part of the Innovation comics, the official story occuring between parts 5 and 6.

In the original script for Freddy's Dead, it did feature Alice and Jacob, Jacob was in John Doe's role.

Always wondered the same thing.

reply

I had always assumed that John Doe was Jacob, and Freddy had used his dreams to kill off the rest of the kids in Springwood.

reply

I used to think that, and in the original script he WAS, but in the actual movie there's no way he could have been, Jacob would have only 10-12 years old during the events of this movie.

The actress wasn't asked back but she was curious how her charcter would've been killed off had she returned. She said she offered for a role in Freddy Vs Jason but they didn't give her one. It would've been cool to see what she was up to.

I guess she and her son are still alive today and living far from Springwood where Freddy can't get her. That is better than returning and being killed off.

It's one of those days...

reply

I like the fact she's still probably alive. It MAYBE MAYBE could allow for a sequel , somehow.

But Alice WAS in this one. He played Freddy's father. Why weren't there a hundred of him?
