As bad as this movie is, you have to admit that...


...the cinematography and set design is pretty top notch. A pity the script is not on par with them...

Yes, and the special effects and make up too. All Nightmare films seem to have a higher budget than other slashers of the time.

Whoa, what???

The lighting was too bright, it made Freddys make up look like the rubber mask it was. They didn't even oil it up for some more realistic effect.

And the visual effects in this film where mostly terrible. This one seemed to be the lowest budget spent on sets and effects. The boiler room didn't even have that trademark red or green glow to it.

To me Freddy looked more human in this one than the others, less burns and more recognizable as Robert Englund.


His hat was much bigger than in previous films and seemed to have a greenish hue to it, and a hat band was added.

Create a society in which you would like to live, not knowing what you're going to come into it as.

I think it could have been alot better if it weren't trying to squeeze it all into 90 minutes and explore John Doe and the town more
