Freddy controlling Events in the real world?

How was Freddy able to cause Spencer, Tracy and Carlos to drive in circles and not be able to leave Springwood? How did he disguise the housee that they decided to sleep in? Were they already dreaming? I just find it weird that he could affect the real world in some of the movies and not in the others. I never understood this.

He also gave John a newspaper article so that he could lead his daughter back to Springwood. I also find it odd that his daughter didn't remember any of the events as a child. She was pretty old to not remember anything. And how about the fact that she lived in a town that was about 2 miles from Springwood. If she was adopted and supposeddly hidden from Freddy why go to the next town over? And how is that nobody outside of Springwood has heard of Freddy? His killings have made the news as shown in the articles yet,no one from the center where the kids are from have never heard of him. And how has he made it so that he could be forgotten? Or how when he kills somebody they somehow disappear? Again controlling events in the real world? This movie has too many questions. I still ike it though. I just always wondered these things. One last thing, if Freddy was Dead for over 20 years what would he know about video games and the power gloves? He would have been dead long before these things were created.

Freddy watches TV. With Beetlejuice.

By that point in the series I think Freddy was so powerful he could control the real world as well.

Same way he was able to get into ANYONE'S dreams without needing someone to link him up to them, also a power he did,'t posses in earlier films.

Create a society in which you would like to live, not knowing what you're going to come into it as.

Absolutely right, Toking. The more people Freddy kills and the more souls he has, the more power he wields. Because he had wiped out the entire child population of Springwood, he had almost godlike power in this movie.

It essentially becomes his undoing in the end. He'd rather stand there and hurl threats at Mr. Big than get down to business because he hasn't been challenged in so long.

There's a scene or 2 in NOES 4 Dream Masters, that repeats itself as well. The part im referring to is right before Debbies Cockroach Death scene. Where Alice, meets up with whom I believe to be Dan at the Diner restaurant. Sorry I was OT but that movie also had a scene repeat itself.

There maybe another scene as well, not sure.
