I have a question about the Freddy Krueger character. Does Robert do the voice himself? Or is it electronically pitch-shifted or altered at all by a machine?

shareFreddy's voice throughout the series alternates from being very deep and broken because of the process it's put through to sounding just like Robert's normal speaking voice which has always bothered me.
