Part six is like one of the best sequels in the franchise, no??? Freddy has more punch-lines and comical as ever... We all knew the Nightmare series was running out of steam after part 5, lol... I like how Part 6 was more like a satire comedy than it is a horror and it never takes itself too seriously, I freaking love Freddy's Dead!!!

If you like part 6 you'd prolly like Freddy's Nightmares the TV series, it has some of the same writters.
Actually if you like 4-5 you'd prolly like Freddy's Nightmares.
Just because we lose today's battle doesn't mean we've lost tommorow's war.
I wouldnt say I love it but were reviewing them on our youtube channel so I have been watching them in order and I have to say I enjoyed this one more than 4 and 5, simply because of what you said. They completely stopped trying to be scary and just went full on comedy. Makes it atleast more entertaining than the previous two movies.
