Hitman on dvd

saw hitman on dvd for the first time in shops yesterday but unfortunately it was fullframe(4:3)
Is this how it was filmed?

Nope. Movie was shot in probably 1.78:1 or 1.85:1 widescreen. Warner figured no one would care if they released it in full frame. They were wrong.

Yeah, those a$$holes at Warner Bros. need to do a Special Edition DVD for this classic in Anamorphic Widescreen too. A commentary with Chuck would be sweet.

This is easily 1 of Chuck's better movies too.

I've got the wide-screen DVD release from Belgium. The transfer is pretty rough though.

While I'm glad I got around to watching the movie, it was very average. The dialogue was unengaging and the action was few and far between. Chuck's hairdo in this the movie was hilariously bad.

Certainly nowhere near as great as 'Braddock: Missing In Action 3'
