The Opening Scene Is Awesome but Has Nothing To Do With The Movie

It's a gritty rainy football game and a player goes in for the TD and starts shooting players to get a TD then kills himself with his gun as the TD Celebration. It's so awesome yet has absolutely nothing to do with the movie.

Of course it does The 1st villain we meet is Milo on the phone, tellin Billy that if he doesn't throw the game he's a dead man..From there our man with the freedom of nothin left to lose or live for lol, says f that, gets loaded on pills and takes out himself and a couple teammates live on national tv...Which brings us to meet Shelley Marcone the owner, having just lost his cash cow and his franchise from turning a Friday Night Football game into a snuff tape, sets up his golden parachute to legalize sports gambling to make a couple mil' and save his ass from the fallout comin his way..Perfect plan if only the senator didn't tell him to *beep* off so he put a hit on him and frames his biggest fan, Joe Hallenbeck ex-secret service, to be the triggerman...Jimmy Dix having been a star Billy Cole was gets banned from the league for illegal betting by Marcone has a chance to get back in the game by his lady's having evidence of Marcone and Senator Baynard's backdoor meeting to legalize sports gambling...Only before she can drop a dime, she gets murdered the same night Joe is hired to be her fill in bodyguard...Our two outlaws bump into each other and with their backs against the wall, set off to give us one of the most classic hard bolied detective flicks of our times

Just amend your thread title to The Opening Credits are awesome, because I'll definitely agree with you there. Great opening to a classic Willis/Black/Scott film.🐭

Yeah, they should have at least flagged him for that. I don't see how shooting opposing players isn't a 15 yard penalty. No way that's legal.
