If you were a fan of the turtles in the early 90's then you loved this movie no matter what. A 5.7 out of 10 is a terribly low and unfair rating for a movie like this.

I was surprised to see such a low rating myself. Maybe I've got my nostalgia wrapped up in this movie but it's a blast. Just some great non-cynical 90s fun!
shareI love this and the original but at the end of the day they aren't very good movies. We just loved them as kids.
I remember saying to my friend as we left the movie theatre in 1990 that TMNT was " the greatest movie I've ever seen!"
This isn't criminally underrated I"m sad to admit. The first is definitely underrated but this movie just isn't that great. Its a good movie for kids but its all the cheese and comedy that the 1st one had in limited doses.
