What happened to the arm of the T-800 that was left in the gears?

Since there's the need to destroy all traces of the Terminator to ensure Skynet is never created and Judgment Day never happens.

That always seemed to be the secret to a sequel back in the day.

But, they ignored it (or forgot about it) altogether. Probably because Cameron wasn't involved.

That arm was crushed beyond recognicion. It isn't anything but a big wad of metal. It's dumb how so many people miss this.

reply

You just found a plot hole. Good job

reply

the advanced microchip is what needed to be destroyed, not generic lumps of metal

reply

Isnt it strange the lab have a arm and chip.

reply

The arm and the chip at the lab was what was left over from The Terminator in 1984.

reply

Right, always an arm left behind somewhere

reply

Why is it strange for the 1984 lab to find an arm and a chip?

reply

Its strange that the only instances parts were left behind, it was 2 arms.

reply

Except there was a chip in one instance, and no chip in the other.

reply

It was crushed.
