What was Frank's problem with Tracy?

It didn't make sense. The first time she sat at his table, he treated her like dirt. That was before Emerald told him to stay away from her, so what was his problem? I'm guessing the movie was poorly edited or written. Maybe the script made more sense. Maybe he knew her from outside. Maybe the scenes were edited together in the wrong order. Can anyone explain this?

Think it was because the last woman he was with screwed him big time and he sees all women as trouble? fact she is in prison already should give him a heads up.

Maybe, but why trust anybody else in the prison, then? It's sexist. People are people. It's not well-motivated or consistent behavior, IMO.

I agree that the issue isn't fully or clearly expanded upon. But I think it's a combination of Frank not being a particularly courageous hero/anti-hero and the fact that apparently he's never had luck with any women.🐭
