I wish we would've gotten to see Dr. Marvin's family reacting over Dr. Marvin being happy and ecstatic.

During the scene where Dr. Marvin arrives home after dropping Bob off to the hospital I wish there was a scene where his family would see him being all happy and energized over Bob being at the hospital, his family would be asking why is he all happy and full of joy all the sudden, that was something he never felt when he'd gotten to spend time with his family and when Bob was over, then they would let him know they wish the way he's feeling at the moment is something he should've been feeling all along.

Why is that, I do wonder if Dr Marvin would've turned back into his old self and realized his wrongdoing in not being a nice father and husband to his family.
