Location for Skull Island scene?
Does anyone know the location for the opening scene at Skull Island? And does anyone know how far it is in distance from the locations used for Skull Island in Peter Jackson's King Kong?
sharePutangirua Pinnacles, in the Wairarapa region of North Island - which was also used in Return of the King (in fact one of the shots of the location was exactly the same as one used in Braindead)
