Hardly. With some epic zombie kills, over the top insane gore, and the comedy (I hope the comedy was intentional...) it will forever be one of the greatest original zombie movies not made by George A Romero.

No I like it more than Evil Dead I but 1 think it's a tie with Evil Dead 2.

I generally fob this off on people who want a good Halloween party flick. If I can get people sick I win points :)

But really, the special effects are quite creative and they did things in this film that I haven't really seen elsewhere. Maybe it's not "realistic," but it's damned creative.
