I think I've figured it out....
So, while looking for a movie to watch while I waste some time, I come across this little gem on FearNet. When I see it was directed by none other than the great Peter Jackson, I figure it has to be at least a decent flick.
Oh, how wrong I was.
But, it has given me some insight into what actually happened to Peter Jackson's career and his subsequent fantastic talent.
In order to gain fame and riches, Peter Jackson sold his soul to the devil. That's right. Following this movie, he became tired of being frustrated as a second hand, incompetent director, so much so that he went down to the crossroads with a hen that hadn't been crossed by a rooster on the night of a new moon and made a pact with the devil. In return for his soul, he became a GREAT director.
Yes, I'm sure many of you have thoughts of him studying and working hard, yada yada yada, but the fact is, the only reasonable explanation is the one offered above.
"Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, don't fail us now!"
