the detective says anne marie came home and found her dog decapitated, helen in her bathroom and her baby gone. where was anne marie that her baby could disappear? what single parent comes home to find their child missing? who leaves their baby? especially in the projects where you have to keep a vicious rottweiler for protection

And her baby wasn't alone, the dog was there. Poor dog.
How was Anne-Marie supposed to know that the Candyman would come a knocking and slicing?
Or she had to work for a living. And couldn't afford a babysitter.
Or she was just a bad parent.
