Really? Well you misread it.

Candyman is based on a short story called "The Forbidden" by Clive Barker.

You also misunderstand what the FAQ is. It is a list of questions that are frequently asked across ALL movies. Of the almost 1m movies made on the site, most have this question asked about them. This is why it is included in all films FAQ's. It doesn't mean specifically that this film has that question asked (at all, or more than other questions).
