I mean, that is what he is. I don't think it's that offensive. It's not like the TC was saying something hateful like, "He's a black man and I don't like black men!" Frankly I'm white and I don't take offense at anyone calling me white. Unless of course it's in an insulting way like, "Look at that white guy who doesn't give a damn about black people." You know maybe some people don't want to type the words African American. I don't even like that expression myself because it makes it sound like they're from Africa when that isn't the case. The majority of black people in America are all descendants of people who have lived here in the U.S for hundreds of years. It also implies that they all know the customs of people in Africa which they don't. But whatever. Get all offended that someone doesn't think like you do.
