Capt Ron in Hi Def

My wife and I just bought a 50" HD TV . Watched Capt Ron this morning on DVD, the same DVD I've watched a 1000 other times. I was blown away by the color and detail that was never there before. For those of you out there who love this movie as me, it's a treat to see. The green boat paint, the wooden rails they are always polishing, the blue water,(you actually see water droplets when the bow crashes thru the waves), the bright clored clothes, the greenery in the islands,...so many things....wow...It made this movie even more fun and cheerfull to watch on a cold wintery day then it was before.

Wow im suprised that an old film can look better on a hd set. Just gos to show what is lost in translation, even on dvd.
Plus captain Ron is a great movie havent saw it last night, first time since i was a wee little boy.

Oh yeah "goofingoff", I agree, Captain Ron looks great on an HD set, and even better on these cold, blustery winter nights.

Agreed, and right now I have Bob Marley playing "Stir it Up" on a CD, and the opening notes bring the image of the first scene in the Caribbean, the bus driving down the stret, the chickens, etc...man I think I have an addiciton to this flick :)
