Great film but I was a little disappointed

I just watch this today and loved it but I was just an
Little disappointed with the third and last part of the story.

I had hopes of Heathclif becoming a good guy again when he met Cathy Linton, i thought he would fall in love with Cathy but no, he was even more mean to her

Anyway all the performances were great and I love so much the romantic and sweet Ralph that I was sad that Heathclif never came back to the nice guy he was in his first years with Catherine.


Edit: I wrote this before reading the book, so now I changed my mind.
The film was just perfect, Ralph totally became the Heathcliff of the book and I'm glad he wasn't watered down like in other version, I also think he had a a great chemistry with Juliette Binoche.
