His performance is grossly underrated in this film. He does an incredible job with an unlikeable and unsympathetic character.

Agree. Kiefer was brilliant (as he almost always is)

Yes, indeed. Kiefer can play a loathsome, creepy sociopath like few others. That VOICE...
