How many cast members served time in the military in real life?
I know Nicholson served as an enlisted man in the Air Force in his early 20s - one can definetly see this and how it influenced how he went about portraying the Colonel Jessup character. Was anybody else from the cast ever in the service? I mean, everybody in this film really does an outstanding job all around. In fact, I would be surprised if nobody else from the cast had any military experience.
