i saw a Kurt Cobain interview and he says Nirvana were offered a role in the movie and he said no without even asking the rest of the band because he thought it was garbage.

That was true . Dave and krist weren't asked . Kurt shut it down quickly . I couldn't imagine Kurt hob knobbing with actors . I wouldn't say misanthropic just out of his comfort zone .

I saw an interview where he said the only good rock n roll movie was "A Hard Day's Night". All the others sucked, like the Elvis movies, in Cobain's opinion.
