People like me are the reason this show is probably done.

I haven't heard a thing about B&B since the comeback season ended. I don't know if it's cancelled or if Mike Judge is currently working on new episodes and is so busy that he's not saying anything or what. There's simply been no news about it.

If it is cancelled, I blame myself (and guys like me). We killed the ratings. I caught the first few episodes on MTV and finally had enough. I couldn't stand it anymore. The constant pop-ups at the bottom of the screen and the commercials that seemingly interrupted the show every three minutes, most of which promoted MTV programs and their related junk, made me feel... unclean. There were more commercials in the half hour timeslot than the friggin' show itself. I know it's hip to trash MTV, but I truly can't stand watching this channel. I decided to stop watching B&B and just wait for the DVD/Blu-ray release, which I picked up on day one and enjoyed tremendously.

I heard MTV will forever own stake in Beavis & Butt-Head, which is really a shame as I think the show would do much, much better on Comedy Central, Cartoon Network or ANY other channel besides MTV.
