Stallone's best movie that isn't Rocky or Rambo?

Yes is it. I would say i enjoyed him more in this movie.

Cliffhanger is a good one, but in my opinion, Stallone's best movie in which he's not Rocky or Rambo is Demolition Man, and then Antz.

It clearly is, imo. Without a doubt. Cliffhanger is the quintessential 90s action movie, a thrilling and fun ride from start to finish. Awesome action sequences, awesome over-the-top violence, awesome stunt work (the whole mid-air heist would be all green screen, nowadays), awesome villain (one of the best ever ?), awesome photography (the crash, the night sequences...), awesome soundtrack (right from the opening), awesome dialogues (one memorable line every five minutes), awesome Stallone, awesomely pretty female character.

Besides the "Rocky" movies, this is my favourite Sly movie! Was never keen on the Rambo franchise.

It's my favourite from Stallone. I used to rush home from school to watch Cliffhanger again and again. I literally wore out the VHS. I still watch it once a year. It's like comfort food.
