Falling into the ice water scene

I can suspend my disbelief long enough to ignore being out in the Rockies with just a t-shirt and being totally OK... I can even ignore how Gabe and his girlfriend go to sleep out in the open with angry henchmen hot on their trail.

But one thing that I cannot ignore is how the hell are we supposed to believe that Gabe can fall into the frozen lake, removes his shirt, taunt the bad guy, then fire his gun with such precision that he actually hits the henchman.... all while under water???

They may as well give him super powers and a cape for this movie. In real life, he would go into shock the moment he fell into the water and die before the henchman even got a chance to kill him.

Notice also that the next time we see him, he's sitting nearby completely dry and apparently quite comfortable. I think they forgot what was going on when they moved from the location to the stage.

It's an action flick. I know, it's totally stupid, but it adds action.
