Seeing that State Farm commercial they was in recently got me thinking i'd love to see a sequel to this. I mean Akroyd and Curtin looked as if they hadn't aged a day in that conehead makeup, i don't see why we couldn't get a sequel.
Thats what i love about these high school girls, i get older they stay the same age.
It was a 1-joke movie stretched to feature lenght. You want to stretch it again? It didn't gross a lot of money and it had bad reviews. Nobody is really asking for a sequel. Not to mention that Dan Aykroyd already received a lot of hate everytime he mentioned he wanted to make GHOSTBUSTERS 3 in interviews.

shareThis seems like the time for movies to be remade but especially sequels happening many years after the original movie. Usually commercials like these come on it's a tease for a potential sequel throwing back the original movies. But if they won't or can't do it then it's not going to happen. Throwbacks/comebacks seem to revamp in commercials but it doesn't mean they will.
