Uh, this is a classic. Why such a low rating?

I mean, WTF? This has some of the finest comedic actors of all time!

This was one of the funniest SNL derived movies of all time.

Its alright, nothing special. Age has not been that kind to it either...

I don't agree. Great comic timing from all, and lots of great quotables! And the "chewing gum"! Ive always wondered how many takes it took to film that, since I would have laughed my butt off if I were Sinbad!

I agree. I just rewatched and enjoyed it immensely.

It's all around just great and seeing and recognizing all the many comedic actors in it made it even better.

It's just a fun ride... :-)

i just watched it last week. It is a very funny movie, much better than I remembered, and deserves a much higher rating.

reply

The cast alone makes it worth watching again. The problem is with such an all star cast people expected a better movie.

I remember seeing it in the theater and thought it was awesome. However, coming out right after "Wayne's World", I think most SNL fans at the time saw it as a letdown.

I just watched it for the first time in at least 10 years. It really is a funny movie, a bit short, but solid. I didn't even realize that Joey Lauren Adams and Parker Posey were in it (Connie's friends in the car and shopping, and at the auto place where she met Ronnie). It's cool to see the film that had some veteran comedians in their primes, some after their best days, and a few future stars just starting out.
