i just finished watching coneheads and was wondering if anybody could tell me where ive seen this garthok before.

Fighting a giant monster as part of a justice system on an alien planet is something of a staple in science fiction. Return of the Jedi is the earliest case of this I can find.

dont know if this will help, but it reminded me alot of the monster in galaxy quest for some reason

I thought the galaxy quest monster looked like it too.

what it most reminds me of are the stop motion animation monsters in 'howard the duck'
